Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement

Trumbull led the construction of 1,800-feet long twin bridges across the Delaware River, and the demolition of the bridges that were replaced. The $396 million Scudder Falls Bridge replaced an existing congestion-prone bridge between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The new bridge carries six through-traffic lanes and three auxiliary lanes to handle traffic merging onto and off the bridge. The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission project also included construction of an All-Electronic Tolling gantry and related infrastructure for highway-speed toll collection, with construction work provided by our sister company, PJ Dick.
